Have your romantic portraits or family portraits taken with one of the most beautiful things in Vancouver! The cherry blossoms only visit the Lower Mainland once a year. The weather is often spectacular, and it’s never too hot or too cold.

As the blossoms depend heavily on the weather, Michelle is opening a span of 1.5 months for this event! That means, you can choose the white, the baby pink or hot pink! What shows your personality?

Fab trip to Seattle and Portland

It was such a pleasure to be invited to my second group exhibition with Compound Gallery, Portland, USA. Why would I miss the fun? So I took 4 days off last week to visit my friend Kenneth in Seattle, and also to drink in all the festivities in Portland.

The opening was of course packed as usual. It was such a treat to meet other Vancouver artists in Portland–how strange! I met the talented and oh-so-friendly Sleepless Kao and Caroline Weaver. It was great to connect with other artists! Afterwards we went to the after party, and danced till 2am! I don’t remember the last time I went dancing!? Another mesmerizing moment with art

I spent today’s afternoon happily strolling in Tacoma, Washington, USA. I have long fallen in love with Dale Chihuly’s sculpture in Downtown Vancouver when I was in high school, and didn’t know anything about this international glass artist.

Last year when I saw his stunning installation at Bellagio, Las Vegas, my jaw dropped to the floor. My favourite photograph of that ceiling installation has been my desktop wallpaper ever since. I also had an evening portrait session with the sculpture earlier this year.
