Thank you all for making Patron Appreciation Event a great success. Not only we had a full house, but the line-up started 30 minutes before the door opened. I was so proud to see all the purple goodie bags swirl around the space–people were showing them off!

It was the birthday of my assistant’s Laura the very next day. Her having no clue at all, I had secretly prepared a birthday present, and asked the whole room full of people to sing her “Happy Birthday.”  Not sure if Laura had had Happy Birthday sung to her by 40 people. It was definitely a neat moment. You can see the very surprised Laura giving me a hug above. If I wasn’t mistaken, she had happy tears in her eyes…

Thank you Laura for all your help. The evening wouldn’t have been the same without your hard work.
