What do you teach in class?

Each class is customized for each student’s needs. Some students only want to know how to take better everyday pictures. Some students want to understand all the rules and theories. What do you want to get out of the classes?

Shutter speed? Aperture?

Digital Photography Overview?

Composition?

Lighting?

Posing?

Digital storage?

Equipment?

What else can you think of?

Who should take your classes?

You are made for my classes if…

- you have a DSLR camera and you have no idea how to use it.

- you have a wee compact digital camera, and would like to take better pictures with it.

- you are going away soon, and want to take amazing pictures in the foreign land.

- you have a major occasion coming up and need some decent shots. (Students have come to me for family weddings, out-of-town family visits.)

- your pictures are always blurry and dark, and you’re sick of it.

- you would like more than 1 nice picture in 300 shots.

- you are considering becoming a professional photographer.

How long do I need to stay in class to learn photography?

Typically it takes a minimum of 5-10 classes to learn the basic. Many students continue for years to perfect some advanced techniques, such as photoshop, printing. Some students take the classes as a transitional training to becoming a professional photographer.

How much do you charge?

Classes are 60 Canadian dollars per hour.

What’s your payment term?

Payment for the month’s classes is due at the first class of the month. Cash or cheque is welcome.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellation must be made 24 hours before the class time. Class rate will be charged within 24 hours. No exception.
