Neat thing that happened last week: artist friend Norman de Brackinghe was so taken by L for Loss in my studio that he phoned me the next day to tell me that he’d dreamt of the lizard the night before. He has been addressing all his subsequent messages to “Michelle and lizard.”

Yesterday I spent a much-needed day in the studio working on my art. Besides a two-hour client consultation in the afternoon and occasional e-mailing and tweeting, I focused my entire existence on my next alphabet painting: B for Betrayal.
